Survival Gear for Uncertain Times

Survival Gear for Uncertain Times is and should be on the minds of Americans today. Between politics and foreign relations, we are surely in some difficult times. I keep hearing that if the United States falls, it would plunge the entire world back into the dark ages.

On the other hand, you also have to consider natural disasters like hurricanes, flooding, tornados, fires, etc. The likes of these have been happening since the world began. This is something you hope and pray will never affect you. With that said, it is always better to be prepared and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Whether you believe either or both scenarios, it’s a good idea to have supplies just in case. I recently went through the worst winter Texas has had in decades. A full week with temps around 0, no water, and no electricity. Without propane and portable heating and cooking devices, we would not have survived. So much for Global Warming! Ha!!

That is just a brief overview of what is in the kit. It comes with a total of 64 pieces. On the other hand, each and every piece is sold separately if you want to put your own kit together. The list of Survival Gear offered is extensive, to say the least.

Servival Gear Individual Food Packets

You name it, they likely have it! From packaged meat, vegetables, and fruit to snacks, desserts, and milk. Again, the list is VERY extensive. In the event the electricity goes out or you are in the wilderness, what are you going to eat? Having open and serve or just add water food options is a must.

From packets to buckets, you will find the quantity you need for your family and situation. More options include powdered eggs, whey milk, dried fruit, vegetables and rice. Furthermore, there is chili, soup, and even pasta and lasagna! As said, they probably have whatever you may want.

Servival Gear Fire Starters

It doesn’t matter if it’s for cooking or staying warm, chances are you may have to start a fire. Do you have provisions to start a fire? In light of that, having a way to start a fire is another essential item to have on hand. Personally, there is always a Zippo lighter in my pocket.

You have options like an electric plasma ark lighter, fire sticks, Ferro rods, and a complete kit with everything. Ensure you can start a fire no matter what the situation is. I have gone camping with nothing but a can of chili and a lighter in my pocket before. Then again, I have been camping all my life. Therefore, I have a LOT of experience.

Portable Power is a Must for Survival Gear

As said before, I was stuck for a week with no water, no power, and temps down to 0! This is a category I found was lacking in my Survival Gear. If possible, a gas generator is your best option. On the other hand, that may not be an option while camping or in an emergency.

Choose from a variety of solar-powered generators and solar panels to keep things powered. In this category, you have options from smaller generators to keep your phones charged all the way up to ones that give enough to run a refrigerator. Keeping a refrigerator running when the power goes out for a week is a must!

Servival Gear Shelter Tents

camping

Building a shelter will be a major challenge for most people. The best option is to have a quality tent on hand. They are easy to set up in a short amount of time. There is a 4 and a 6 person tent to choose from.

No matter the situation, If you are away from home a shelter is going to be a must. Perhaps you are caught in a snowstorm. Maybe it’s raining and 50 degrees outside. On the flip side, it could be over 100 degrees, humid, and a hoard of mosquitos trying to suck your blood. With that said, there will be VERY few situations where a shelter will actually not be essential.

Pack the Wine Too!!

Trust me, there is more than one use for wine. First off, if you have just been through a disaster or spent the day cleaning up after one, you will likely need something to calm your nerves. I know from experience, I’ve been through a few tornados, and they are NOT fun! You’re not sleeping the rest of the night. Furthermore, it can be used as an antiseptic due to the alcohol content. It will definitely kill germs!

With that said, you really need quality wine for such a dreadful experience. Don’t go cheap with the Boon’s Farm or even wine from the liquor store. Granted, that will help in the moment, but you will regret it the next day. All of those wines are mass-produced with artificial ingredients. That is what causes the “hangover” the next day.

True Fine Wines take 2-4 years to produce. Therefore, most wine companies add artificial ingredients to speed up the process. Some even add arsonic to sweeten it! They are poisoning you! If you have never had a bottle of True Fine Wine made the right way, you have no idea what you have missed.
