With no sewing machine or experience with how to use one, she purchased a used $20 dollar machine. Next, it takes more than a few calls to her mom for advice; but soon a prototype was created. After that, she went to a high-end accessories show with her prototypes in hand. To her unbelief, half of them did not even have working zippers. She had to try and hide those in the back and only bring out the working pieces.
